Systron Donner Inertial (SDI) has uncovered a potential fault in the MMQ-G system software that manifests itself when using the MMQ-G in Air Alignment mode. If a satellite dropout occurs during Air Alignment mode, a flaw in the MMQ-G software logic can result in system level performance that does not meet specification when the unit transitions to the navigation mode. There has been a recent anomalous performance observation associated with the C-MIGITS product line that we need to inform you about. During routine testing, both customers and Systron Donner noted altitude variations in the output that were abnormal for the product.
