Lonny Louie

Lonny Louie directs all quality programs , leads the quality team, and is responsible for supplier quality and management systems in assuring the highest quality and performance of Systron Donner Inertial’s products. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of a broad range of weapons ordnance and navigation systems from his positions prior to joining SDI in 2000 as Quality Engineer and growth to appointment as Senior Quality Manager in September 2005. He led his group to achieving ISO9001:2000 Certification, and Re-Certification in process of AS9100 Certification, serves as a Lean Core Team member and leads the quality role in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product introductions. Prior positions include Project Engineer on the Weapons Quality Engineering Team (QET/WQET), Design Engineer at NAVWPNSTA, where he served as lead engineer in development of weapon and navigation systems. Additional positions include TQM Facilitator at WQEC Concord, CA. Lonny holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, and continuous post-graduate training/certification programs in Lean principles and implementation.
