Ken Marino

Biography:

Ken Marino manages all aspects of engineering, including recent development of the company’s MMQ and MMQ-G IMU IMS products and their transition into full production, and further development of the MMQ series to include Vertical Gyro and Attitude Heading and Reference (AHRS) capabilities. His experience in the overall navigation systems community and leadership in increasing disciplines and skill levels of the engineering development team for navigation and next-generation sensor systems has seen several dramatic benefits in improving system performance, yield and lowering manufacturing costs. Ken has also led his group into new development programs to expand sophisticated sensor systems.
 
Before joining Systron Donner Inertial (SDI) in July 2005, Ken served as Manager of Advanced Sensor Development at Northrop Grumman Navigation Systems Division, managing advanced technologies group in developing next-generation sensors used in navigation and acoustic sensors. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, and post graduate course completions from California State University Northridge and UCLA. Ken holds three patents, including micro-cell for NMR gyroscopes, stabilization of jitter effects on displayed images and ring laser gyroscopes.
