The Leader in Quartz MEMS Technology

C-MIGITS III INS / GPS System

C-MIGITS III INS / GPS System

SOLD OUT - See SDN500

Description:

In March 2012 SDI announced the shipment of the final C-MIGITS INS/GPS system built, marking the official production end for one of the premier INS/GPS systems in its class.

Since its introduction in 2001, approximately 1,500 C-MIGITS units have been deployed around the world in various military and aerospace applications. Providing a Quartz MEMS IMU tightly-coupled with a GPS receiver via a proprietary Kalman filter, the C-MIGITS has provided navigation, geo-location and optical/antenna stabilization for many highly-sophisticated systems.

In mid-2011, Systron Donner Inertial introduced the SDN500 INS/GPS system as the successor to the C-MIGITS to address components obsolescence issues. Utilizing the latest SDI500 Quartz MEMS IMU, a tactical-grade system proven across many platforms, the SDN500 combines dramatically-improved inertial performance with the familiar C-MIGITS communications and command interface. Additionally, the SDN500 is 50% smaller, weighs 33% less and draws 46% less power
