Subject: Move Validation and New Sales Department Fax Number

 

Systron Donner Inertial (SDI) has completed its move back into a company owned facility. The move has successfully provided uninterrupted production and on-time delivery support to our customers. Office and factory personnel, production processes and build documentation remain the same. A key aspect of the move included validation of production test and manufacturing equipment after installation at Concord. Our Quality Manager, Lonny Louie has indicated, “For each production area, the evaluation of test data collected before and after the facility move, by a cross functional team comprised of Quality, Manufacturing and Design departments, shows no effects resulting from moving the equipment. The individual unit performance and that of the associated test equipment have also been evaluated and together show that there has been no significant change in performance resulting from the move.”

Subject: Systron Donner Inertial New Address

 

The recent economic impacts combined with excess facility capacity in the Systron Donner Automotive Division enables Systron Donner Inertial to move from its current leased facility located at 355 Lennon Lane, Walnut Creek, CA 94598 back into a company owned facility. This move will reunite the entire SDI machining, manufacturing, support, engineering, sales and administration functions into one location. SDI’s new address will be 2700 Systron Drive, Concord, CA 94518. Beginning December 14, 2009, please direct all correspondence to our new Concord location.

 

Throughout this move our objective at SDI is providing uninterrupted production and on-time delivery support to our customers. Some machining and support functions have already moved into the Concord location. The balance of the organization will move in four controlled phases beginning on November 12, 2009, concluding on December 16, 2009.
