July 1, 2006 SYSTRON DONNER INERTIAL ANNOUNCES NEW FACILITY LOCATION
Concord, CA - Systron Donner Inertial (SDI), an operation of Schneider Electric and a global business unit of Custom sensors & Technologies (CST), is pleased to announce its relocation to 355 Lennon Lane in Walnut Creek, California. SDI has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and, in the process, outgrew their current office/manufacturing space. The new building is approximately five miles from their previous location in Concord, CA. Systron Donner Inertial’s 45,000 square foot facility consists of two floors. Assembly and test of inertial sensors and systems are conducted on the first floor within a state-of-the-art clean room and final assembly areas. Layout was designed for efficient manufacturing flow through assembly, test and shipping. The second floor consists of Sales & Marketing, Contracts, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, and Human Resources. “We were fortunate to find such a nice space so close to our previous location effectively eliminating the impact that relocation could have on our customers and employees. Our new location and enhanced manufacturing area will enable continued growth, allowing us to provide exceptional products and superior service along the way,” said Harry Angus, SDI Operations Manager.
